Parker Vs Arnfield Joins The Magnificent 7
By Queensberry Promotions
A COLLISION AT light heavyweight between Zach Parker and Jack Arnfield has been added to the next Magnificent Seven card that will take place at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham on July 20, live on TNT Sports.
Unfortunately, due to illness, Liam Davies's IBO world super bantamweight title fight against Shabaz Masoud will not feature as planned. However, the Stoke favourite will remain on the card against a new opponent. Davies against Masoud will go ahead at a later date should Masoud be victorious on July 20th.
Parker (24-1, 17 KOs) was last in action in Birmingham back in March when he defeated former WBA world super middleweight champion Tyron Zeuge via decision in just his second fight back following extensive hand surgery sustained in a challenge for the WBO Interim world title against John Ryder in late 2022.
Arnfield (26-3, 6 KOs) is also on the comeback trail following a British title challenge against Tommy Langford in 2018 at middleweight. He holds victories over Ryder, Mick Hall and Brian Rose at 160lbs. He returned to action in May with success over Robbie Chapman in Blackpool.
Headlining this edition of the Magnificent Seven format will be the rematch between Nathan Heaney and Brad Pauls for the British middleweight title.
Also fighting on what will be an action-packed night will be Queensberry new girl Chantelle Cameron fighting Elhem Mekhaled for the WBC Interim world lightweight title, English heavyweight champion Sol Dacres going up against David Adeleye, WBO European and English welterweight champion Owen Cooper taking on Ekow Essuman, British and Commonwealth bantamweight champion Ashley Lane defending against Liverpool firebrand Andrew Cain and a title defence for Commonwealth Silver light heavyweight champion Ezra Taylor.
