Flanagan V Mathews Boiling Up

The red-hot world title showdown between Terry Flanagan and Derry Mathews at the Liverpool Echo Arena is just five weeks’ away but both fighters are charged up and ready to go for it right now.
Manchester ace Flanagan, the undefeated WBO World Lightweight Champion, makes the second defence of his title against his Liverpool arch-rival, Mathews, on Saturday 13th February.
All-action Flanagan, known as ’Turbo’ for his exhilarating style of fighting, said, “The fight can’t come any quicker for me, I just want to get in the ring and smash him up. Boxing fans’ know how I fight, fast and hard, and that’s what I’m bringing to the ring against Mathews. He’s not going to know what’s hit him. The world title is mine and coming back with me to Manchester.”
‘Dirty’ Derry, who has been engaged in brutal wars over the years’ that have thrilled fight fans’, said, “Flanagan is coming to my city now and he’ll be like a cat in headlights when he gets in the ring against me. It’s the biggest night of my career and for that I’m putting on the biggest performance of my career. Make no mistake, I’ll knockout him out.”
