Harrow Show Postponed Following Mansouri Injury In Williams Headliner
By Queensberry Promotions
Liam Williams’ British and Commonwealth Super-Welterweight title defence on Saturday 2nd April at the Harrow Leisure Centre has been postponed.
The Welshman was scheduled to headline the show with a defence of the titles against Nav Mansouri, but the Rotherham challenger withdrew late last week following an injury to his achilles heel.
With contenders reluctant to face the undefeated and thunderous punching Williams at short notice, a suitable challenger has not been secured and therefore the decision has been taken to reschedule the show with a new date to be announced.
The undercard will remain the same with top talents: Southampton super-welterweight Joe Pigford, Welsh middleweight Alex Hughes, Harrow welterweight Jez Smith, West Ham super-lightweight Ben Smith, Acton flyweight Prince Patel, and the professional debuts of Hornchurch super-lightweight Sanjeev Sahota and Staines-upon-Thames welterweight Tony Bange.
Tickets purchased will be valid for the new date or a refund will be available by going to the original point of purchase.
