Super Skeete Wins The British Welterweight Crown Outright
By Queensberry Promotions
Bradley Skeete defended his British Welterweight title for the third time – to keep the Lonsdale belt for good – but crushed Dale Evans’ dreams of honouring tragic Mike Towell.
Classy Skeete cruised to a unanimous points decision over the brave Evans.
His third successful defence takes his record to 27 wins and one defeat from 28 bouts, while Welshman Evans' loss was his fourth from 19.
“Last night I achieved my boyhood dream of winning a British title outright!” said Skeete on his Facebook page after the fight.
“I would like to thank everyone who spent their hard earned money buying tickets to come and support me create history! The support was amazing as always.”
