Williams Bookmakers' Favourite For Smith Rematch
By Queensberry Promotions
After their fiery first meeting at the Manchester Arena, plenty were calling for Liam Smith and Liam Williams to meet in a rematch.
Liverpool's Smith won the bloody battle after Williams was pulled out after the ninth round due to a deep wound on his right eye. The Welshman made a strong start to the bout, but Smith, a former World Champion, was rallying late on.
It was a controversial ending and fans were robbed of a definitive result, but on October 28th the pair settle the score at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle.
Traders at 32Red indicated that after the way Williams performed in April, he starts the fight as a stronger favourite than in the first encounter, offering odds of 4/6 for the Welshman while Smith is 6/5.
At the time of stoppage the betting was 9/2 Smith, 1/7 Williams and the draw was 20/1, with the pre-fight betting having Williams priced at 8/11 favourite going into the clash at the Manchester Arena.

Ticket information for this unmissable rematch will be confirmed soon.
