Watch every Queensberry show live worldwide on DAZN.
A FEW BUILDING blocks are now in place to form the foundations of a truly blockbuster 2026 on the Queensberry front.
There really is so much to look forward to and, truth be told, the challenge will be fitting everything in because of the depth and quality of our pool of fighters.
This is always a problem I would rather have than not have but our partnership with DAZN now gives us far greater scope to deliver the goods - and not just to towns and cities across Britain.
Of course, our first delivery of the new year comes in Oberhausen, Germany, on January 10 where we have the intention of reviving the sport in a nation with a rich tradition and a huge love of boxing.
The driving force behind it all will be Agit Kabayel, who many people consider to be the leading contender in the heavyweight division at the moment. Agit will defend his WBC Interim world title against the undefeated Pole Damian Knyba and it is a fight the German public have really got behind.
The Rudolf Weber Arena holds around 11,000 and the tickets were all snapped up in a matter of days. If I’d realised it would be so well received we would have sought out an arena with double the capacity!
I think this will be the first of many trips to Germany and, as we know from previous cases such as the Klitschko’s, the fans appreciate talent and will get behind non-German fighters.
I am sure they will love our Cuban star Jadier Herrera, who will be fighting for the WBC Interim world lightweight title on the card against Ricardo Nunez. Germany will also be a strong option when it comes to showcasing our big Uzbek power move, with the signings of Olympic and world champion Asadkhuja Miydinkhujaev and world champion Javokhir Ummataliev. These two are really very special talents, who you will also get to see perform in the UK.
We have also added to our previously one-man band French contingent with the signing of Bakary Samake, the No.1 welterweight contender, to add to the Olympic champion Tony Yoka.
After Germany, the Magnificent 7 rocks back into Manchester and the Co-op Live on January 24 with an exceptional card topped by Moses Itauma going up against Jermaine Franklin Jr.
Again, ticket sales are booming and our biggest arena will be packed to the rafters on the night for a show that delivers on every level. Willy Hutchinson against Ezra Taylor, Liam Davies taking on Zak Miller and Shakiel Thompson going up against Brad Pauls - you can take your pick for what you think will be fight of the night.
Then on the first Saturday of February we are back in the North West, this time in Liverpool, for cracking world title action featuring Nick Ball.
Nick will be making a fourth defence of his WBA world featherweight title against the American Brandon Figueroa, who is his mandatory challenger.
Liverpool has, once again, become a stronghold for Queensberry and we are thrilled to be back there on a regular basis now. The catalyst for this has been Nick and his team at the Everton Red Triangle headed up by Paul Stevenson.
Success inspires success and now we have great young talents from a number of Liverpool gyms all seeking to emulate what Nick has achieved.
One at the ERT who is not far away from doing such is Andrew Cain, who is in a big fight on February 7, a final eliminator for a shot at the WBC world bantamweight title against Alejandro Jair Gonzalez.
Win this one and 2026 will be massive for Andrew.
This is all just for starters because we have got more to reveal in the coming days, so watch this space.
